It's 1981.  Leo had relocated his studio to California, keeping up with the demands from New Orleans as well as painting all of his favorite genres of jazz. Leo loved Ella Fitzgerald and painted several versions of her.  Using his signature ink and watercolor figural style--this one is exquisite!
