Leo painted Dizzy Gillespie more than any musician!  Here is one selection from a series we have of paintings created in 1981.  A little background on this one:  Leo had known and painted Dizzy for years, and in 1969, the first New Orleans Jazz Festival was produced.  Leo was the Art Director and had just relocated to New Orleans that year.  What a line-up of jazz legends and so many stories!
